Welcome to the Committee On States 18th Annual State Leadership Conference: “Moving Mountains: Rooted in Community.” This year we head to Snowbird, Utah from May 28 - 30 where we will forge an interconnected path forward, both offense and defense. We’re excited to be hosted by a larger than life state with inspiring leaders and landscapes. This year, we have an elevated calling in the face of a more dangerous and focused Trump administration and emboldened state legislatures. Utah embodies the demographic realities of our movement - the fastest growing state with the youngest population - poised to get another congressional district. We must convene to understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what collectively we must do to win and power our movement moving forward - in every state, red and blue.

Room Block Booking Details: A block of rooms has been reserved at The Cliff Lodge at Snowbird Resort, where the conference will be held. The discounted rate of $219 per night (plus tax and resort fee) will be available on a first come-first serve basis until Monday, May 5 or until the room block fills - whichever comes first. 

To book, guests can call our reservations department at 800-453-3000 (select option #2) or they can use this link to book online. If calling in, guests will need to reference the Committee on States Annual Meeting, or they can give this group code “CSAM25” so the COS negotiated rates are available for your booking.

Getting There: Snowbird is located about 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).

• Shuttle Service: Guests that are needing ground transportation to and from Snowbird can book that at the time of booking. The shuttle company we use is Alta Shuttles. The current round-trip cost for shared shuttle service is $114 per person, and for one-way transfers it is $57. Both rates include gratuity. Booking may be done when making your hotel reservations, whether online or via call-in, however, guests will need to have their flight information at the time of booking. If you do not have your flights booked at the time of booking, guests can call back to book that anytime up to 72 hours before your arrival date.
• Parking: For those driving to the event, complimentary self-parking is available. Should you wish to valet park, these charges will not be covered by COS. The current rate is $20 per day.
• Uber/Lyft/Rideshare: While rideshare services may be a great option for traveling from the airport to Snowbird, please note that these services are not recommended for transportation from Snowbird back to the airport, as they are not regularly available at the resort.
